Howdy,
Welcome to my home away from home. I’m a Christian author determined to break into a market that’s tough as nails to enter. I write romantic suspense in a rodeo/western setting. I married my Alpha Male hero, a soldier and a man deeply rooted in the rich farming soil of the Midwest. Together we had four copies of ourselves, twin boys, a cowgirl in training, and another boy who is my hero’s Mini-Me.
Why do I write in this particular genre? Well, I love the lifestyle, love God, and I love a well-spun mystery. Finding none of these in the books that sat on library and bookstore shelves, I took up pen and paper and crafted a book I wanted to read without having to cringe or skip pages. If you like cowboys, rodeos, horses, and a little murder and mayhem, then you’ve come to the right place. Stomp on your boots, strap on those spurs and get ready for a wild eight-second ride you won’t soon forget!
Recent News:
October: fall, harvest, pumpkins, scarecrows, hay wagon rides and autumn leaves falling. This is my favorite time of the year, and not just because my birthday is this month. I love the smells of fall, the crisp cool air, and the reprieve from summer’s hot hold–not that we had a hot one this year.
Makes this ole country girl glad she hears the drone of combines out her window. This is heaven for me.
Check out my blog to find out what’s up with me lately and how the writing goes. See what books I’ve read this month. Or just stop by and say howdy. I might even have a funny or two posted for a good laugh.
I received to date eight rejections from editors, but still have others to wait on. You can learn more about my journey to becoming a published author on my blog Rodeo with a Twist of Suspense.

In October of 2007, I signed with Mary Sue Seymour of the Seymour Agency. Currently, my first book, Five-Second Penalty, is gracing editors’ desks across the country. I’m in the midst of finishing the rough draft of the second book in the four book series, Broken Barrier.
In September of 2007, my husband returned from his first tour in Iraq. God blessed us greatly during this time of separation. I’m just glad to have him back. Please remember to pray for our troops over in harms way. They are fighting in a war and paying the ultimate price while many in this country refuse to understand and support.
