Chicken Salad with Grapes

Ingredients3 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded1 cup red seedless grapes, halved1/2 cup celery, finely chopped1/4 cup red onion, finely diced1/2 cup mayonnaise1 tbsp Dijon mustard1 tbsp lemon juice1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)InstructionsIn a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, halved grapes, celery, and red onion.In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until smooth.Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture and stir gently until evenly coated.Fold in chopped pecans or walnuts if using.Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to blend.Serve chilled on croissants, sandwich bread, lettuce wraps, or with crackers.
