Italian Stuffed Beef Rolls in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients :

8 thin beef steaks1 cup breadcrumbs1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese2 cloves garlic, minced1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped1/4 cup pine nuts, toastedSalt and pepper to taste3 tablespoons olive oil1 onion, finely chopped2 cans (14 oz each) crushed tomatoes1/2 cup red wine1/2 cup beef broth

Préparations :

Lay the beef steaks flat and season both sides with salt and pepper.In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, pine nuts, and a pinch of salt and pepper.Spread the breadcrumb mixture evenly over each steak, then roll them up tightly.Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the beef rolls on all sides, then remove them from the skillet.Add the finely chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent. Pour in the red wine and beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.Add the crushed tomatoes and bring the mixture to a simmer.
